Wet,wet, wet!! Been pouring down all day and is still at it, also needed light on since getting home at lunch time. Went to have nails done then it was a change of plan, should have been going to local garden centre for lunch and some Christmas shopping but decided the weather was too wet, ended up going to Tesco for some 'bits'.

Another wet day, persisting down at the moment and I'm off to a meeting in a few minutes.

Managed to get the wallpaper all stripped off yesterday and also got a small patch of Artex scraped off the ceiling so just need to wash down all the walls later and we're ready for the plasterer who's coming tomorrow and Saturday to do some skimming.

Wicked last night was a superb show but a shame that the service was so poor at our pre theatre meal, the food was good but it took so long that we nearly left before our mains arrived. Hate having to rush to finish a meal.

Off to the doc's this afternoon to see about my shoulder and then out for a live music gig this evening.

As David says wet again and dull. Coffee,Cake and chat Christmas Party today, catering for about 60, at least everything being bought in so only need to set up, make tea and wash up. Then out tonight with the ladies from church for a meal at the local golf club, at least we won't be late home as they start making a move at 9pm.

Overcast and dull here but so far no rain, although I'm not holding my breath as the sky looks full of the darn stuff!

Nothing planned possibly some light domestic godessry and a potter round the shops, the latter being weather dependant and no doubt a cuppa somewhere.

Absolutely brilliant gig last night to a sold out club althought it was a late night only getting home around midnight so I'm knackered as my shoulder is preventing me getting a good night's sleep. Saw the Doc and he's referred me to a specialist so I'm off to see one on Monday afternoon.

Another wet and miserable day and I'm off to play tennis this morning. Daft as it might sound my shoulder injury isn't affecting my playing too much.

Then a final bit of room finishing this afternoon, basically cleaning all the walls to prepare them for painting and a bit of filling in holes and small plaster gaps before the plasterer arrives this evening to fill in the larger parts following the electrician's work.

Harold coming round for a while as YD is off to her work Christmas party and her fiance is on the late shift.

Overcast here but dry at present. Just popping out for a couple of errands then home for rest of day. May put a few decorations up this afternoon (still think it's too soon really) but OH enthusiastic. Nice meal and company last night hone for 9.30pm so not a late one.

The heavy rain and strong winds seem to have blown through. It's still reasonably mild and I have fuschias and roses still flowering in the garden. It really doesn't feel like December.
Have a good weekend everyone.
